Google Fit Data

Device Information

We collect a unique device identifier to prevent multiple accounts from the same device and ensure fair play in challenges.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage data such as which challenges you join, your scores, and leaderboard rankings to operate the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Operate challenges — Track your steps and heart points for daily fitness challenges
• Display leaderboards — Rank participants fairly based on their actual fitness activity
• Prevent cheating — Detect manual/fake entries and ensure only real physical activity counts
• Process payments — Credit winnings to your in-app wallet
• Improve the service — Understand how users interact with challenges to make them better

3. Google Fit Data Usage

Specifically:

• We only access step count and heart points data — no other health data
• We do not sell your Google Fit data to any third party
• We do not use Google Fit data for advertising purposes
• We do not share your raw fitness data with other users — only your rank and total score are visible on leaderboards
• Data is stored securely on our servers and used only to operate the challenge features
• You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Hostinger. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

• Challenge data (steps, heart points, rankings) is stored in our database
• Wallet transactions are processed securely through our payment system
• We do not store your Google account password

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to outside parties except:

• Leaderboards — Your display name and challenge scores are visible to other participants
• Legal requirements — If required by law or to protect our rights
• Service providers — We use Google AdMob for advertising, which may collect device identifiers as described in Google's Privacy Policy

6. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the app. AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

TaskTrophy is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data stored by us
• Delete your account and associated data
• Revoke Google Fit access at any time
• Opt out of personalized advertising

We retain your challenge data for the duration of active challenges and 30 days after completion for payout processing. Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
